Introduction

This article is about terminal emulators. They are programs that emulates a video terminal within some other display architecture. Therefore terminal emulators can be used to install software, perform terminal commands and also use CLI & TUI applications. There are also many terminal emulators available for individuals, they all have different advantages for using them. Therefore I would recommend trying a few out and seeing what fits you best.
